SatSMS settings

If you check this check box, a notification message is displayed for five seconds on the bottom right corner of the screen every time a new SatSMS is received, whether the OPENSKY™ Client Application is running or not.
The default value is checked.

If you check this check box, a sound is played together with the notification message (only if enabled) every time a new SatSMS is received, whether the OPENSKY™ Client Application is running or not.
The default value is checked.

If you check this check box, the SatSMS window of the OPENSKY™ Client Application is displayed every time a new SatSMS is received.
The default value is unchecked.

SatSMS are text messages sent via satellite that do NOT require any dial-up connection. They are received when your computer is on, whether the OPENSKY™ Client Application is running or not.
There are many types of SatSMS you can receive with OPENSKY™. Among them are:

• SatSurf Service: notification of your SatSurf status (logged in/out, traffic...). These SatSMS are mandatory for OPENSKY™ Direct Access to work (see OPENSKY™ Direct Access).
• e-lerts or E-mail alerts: notification of new e-mail received (not all providers offer this service).
• Global news: general news on OPENSKY™.
• Provider news: provider specific news.

Note 1: Press the Ok button to apply your changes and close the settings dialog.

Note 2: Press the Apply button to apply your changes and keep the settings dialog up.

Note 3: Press the Cancel button to close the settings dialog without saving your changes.

Note 4: Press the Default button to set all settings to their default values.
