The main window of My Files panel is the files list, where files are listed according to your search (see Searching files).
Several pieces of information are displayed in this view:
- Type: an image tells the type of the content (e.g. web
or video
).
- Name: the name of the content.
- Description: to help you understand the content.
- Date: when the content was downloaded.
- Size: the size of the content.
Further information on the content is provided as icons. You can also use these icons to manipulate downloaded content:
the content is corrupted.
This icon shows the content is currupted but does not give you any way for repairing it. This content might be usable, but not reliable. You should download it another time to ensure the reliability of this content.
to repair a corrupted content.
This icon shows the content is corrupted and enables repairing via Internet. Click the phone to start repairing the content using the Dial-up connection defined in the Connections settings.
to uncompress a compressed content.
Note that this operation uses a lot of resources and can alter the reception of your content.
We recommend that you execute this operation when no content is being downloaded.
to open the content folder within your computer environment.
You can also click the content name to open the content. This link has a different behavior, depending on the content type.
For example, if you click the name of a web content, the home page of this website (if exists) will be launched,
instead of opening the folder.
to remove the content from your computer.
Note: If a new content is received or removed within SatKiosk interface, My Files panel is updated automatically to display the new content.
However, if the content is altered beside SatKiosk (through the operating system for instance),
it is possible to refresh the files list by pressing the Refresh button (
) on the bottom right of the program window.
