Setting up SatKiosk

Depending on your satellite adapter, you might have to proceed to some settings, in order for SatKiosk to work properly.

During OPENSKY™ installation, you will have to define the SatKiosk content folder. We recommend that you define the final SatKiosk folder during installation. Nevertheless, you can specify the destination folder for SatKiosk content, later on, in OPENSKY™ settings (see SatKiosk settings).

Thanks to OPENSKY™ owned protocol, you can download content from different transponders simply by selecting a content (see Selecting content to download). OPENSKY™ will automatically set your satellite adapter to listen to the proper transponder.

This feature is available and has been tested with many satellite adapters and drivers. However, if your satellite adapter is not supported, you will have to set it manually. A message will tell you if your adapter is not compatible when attempting to view a SatTV channel. Simply follow the instructions on this message for manual settings.
